The District Officer (District Collector) is designated under Section 5 of the POSH Act — responsible for receiving Annual Reports, constituting Local Committees and acting on non-compliance complaints. The District WCD Nodal Officer monitors POSH implementation and is the SHe-Box district nodal contact.
