Annual Report — Ernakulam District
Kochi-based organisations must submit their IC Annual Report to the District Officer, Ernakulam under Section 21 of the POSH Act. The report covers the calendar year (January–December) and is typically filed by 31 January of the following year.
The Annual Report must include (per Rule 14 of the POSH Rules, 2013):
- Number of complaints received
- Number of complaints disposed of
- Number of complaints pending for more than 90 days
- Number of workshops or awareness programmes conducted
- Nature of action taken by the employer
Even if your organisation received zero complaints, the report is still mandatory. Failure to file attracts a penalty of up to ₹50,000 under Section 26 of the Act.
