To whom should I send the POSH Annual Report in Kerala?+
The IC Annual Report under Section 21 of the POSH Act must be submitted to the employer and the District Collector of the district where your organisation operates. The District Collector is designated as the District Officer under Section 5 of the POSH Act. Contact details for all 14 districts are in the directory above.
What is the POSH Annual Report deadline in Kerala?+

What is the difference between the District Officer and the WCD Nodal Officer under the POSH Act?+
The District Officer (District Collector) is designated under Section 5 of the POSH Act — responsible for receiving Annual Reports, constituting Local Committees, and acting on non-compliance complaints. The District WCD Nodal Officer monitors POSH implementation and is the SHe-Box district nodal contact.
Can I file a POSH complaint online in Kerala?+
Yes. Use the SHe-Box portal at shebox.wcd.gov.in — the Central Government complaint platform. Complaints are routed to the appropriate IC or Local Committee. You may also email WCD Kerala at posh.wcd@kerala.gov.in.
What is the penalty for POSH non-compliance in Kerala?+
Under Section 26 of the POSH Act, the first offence carries a fine of up to Rs 50,000. Repeat violations attract double the penalty and possible cancellation of business registration, licence, or government approvals.
